John Belknap
John Belknap is a collagist and graphic designer by trade, particularly throught his drawings and paintings. Rather than pulling from realistic representations and extreme hyperrealism, John uses the tools around him (pens and pencils, food dye, magazine clippings, overheard conversations, observed art, etc) to create his work. He plays with themes of gender and sexuality, image and text, as well as narratives and representation within a range of media from zines to stickers, drawings and paintings, as well as digital prints.
